A Beautiful Piece of Equipment

This is the Microsoft Courier and it drags a lot of the design features off the iphone, but thats not the point, the iPhone is a brilliant piece of kit and its logical to follow suit, this system may not be a power house and include high technology but it is a fantastic right hand man for a business person, i think i could really fall for one of these myself and i would recommend it to anybody in the design business like myself.

Your own book isn't that far away

Well i have achieved chapter 3 of the Novel, Im happy because the following two chapters is where the story really falls into place, anyway i wanted to tell you about a company called blurb, just google them to find their site, they provide a service which allows you to print your own photo albums and picture books, I know there are other companies out there that provide the same service but blurb also offer another service, they will print out a text book, wether it be a 400 page novel or a 20 page guide, i love this idea, at the moment it cost less then £17 for a hardback 400 page book with a full color dust cover, this is a great idea if you are trying to get a book published, it allows you to show the publisher the finished product and will give them a better idea of what you want, Im certainly going to use them for my first publication, steve.

Tech Heaven on the Horizon

Well first of we have the long anticipated release of apples Snow Leopard which already has a confirmed release date of september 2009 but there is more on the horizon for us consumers, first off there has been talk of an august release date for the long awaited windows 7, this is estimated to be two days after the RTM date of august 6th, but I'm gonna put a bet on that this will only be for OEM's, a speculated release date of september is much more likely for the public, as Microsoft have confirmed that the 35% off coupons will be in effect from september onwards.

Finally i have been scanning the rumor channels for confirmations on this idea that apple are planning a revision of their ipod touch, at least 15 different sites show evidence or spread rumors that apple have purchased a vast amount of camera modules and the cameras are different from those in the 3GS so one can only assume they are planning a new device for the market, and accounting for the fact that apple have a classic date for ipod releases in september it looks good for consumers, it would make sense for apple to add a camera to the ipod touch line since the touch already runs the 3.0 software that the iphone does, it would mean minimal input for apple to release an ipod with voip and video camera capabilities, but then that would mean that there was a much cheaper and just as good version of the iphone on the market which could push down their iphone sales, there is a pretty large moral dilemma here for them because they can ether release the ipod with a camera, mic, and better chipsets but possibly drive down sales of the iphone, or they could release an ipod with better chipset but no camera or mic but not sell any higher percentage of units in the market due to lack of interest, from speculation of the news though it would do apple some favors to release a camera wielding ipod touch since they have just released news that they cant make enough 3GS units due to high demand when first released, this would be a possible way to ease the tension of their customers.

New mercedes car to match my initial, the SLS

Thats right Mercedes have confirmed their release of the SLS in September later this year, although this has been unveiled quite a while what is interesting is that they are introducing a new Mercedes eDrive system to be available in 2015, and what's more it will be available in the new SLS (i still cant get over that name, ha!) the new system will use lithium ion batteries and uses a rather clever method to optimize power output from the electrical motor, although the electric version wont have as much bhp as the v8 version, 525 compared to the 571 consecutively. The interesting thing is that the electric version does produce more lb.-ft than the v8 version (this is usually a selling point for the chaps at mercedes) the electric version produces 649 where as the v8 produces 479. the new car is based on the original mercedes super car the gul winged 300sl, its going to be beautiful, check out the new drive system above, you may need to open the image in a new window.
